these shoes look really cute on my son. He likes them a lot, and he is very comfortable in them at day care.

My daughter has been wearing these for months, she’s 3. A small child can easily put these on by themselves due to them being one big velcro flap. I like that they look like laces but aren’t. I find that the color has went well with her wardrobe. They are very cushy and comfy.

FOR GIRLS!!! No matter what race you are, ’street’ or ‘ghetto’ is an awesome look!! Here are some tips on how to rock the club!
Steps
- Hair/makeup: If you’re african american, weaves always look good, as well as just two braids. If you’re white, two braids or unkempt, or straight hair looks great. Also, really wavy hair is attractive. Wear big scarves or bandannas around your forehead. Makeup doesn’t really matter for this cool look, but mascara and a little bit of eyeliner is always attractive.
- Apparel: Good brands for street/ghetto clothing are South Pole, Baby Phat, Dereon, and G Unit. They can be found at department stores such as Sears, Dillards, Macys, and JC Penneys. Can’t afford that? No problem. Look for clothes at places you can afford. Look for bandannas, capris cropped at the knees, flared jeans, tight tanktops and baggy t-shirts.
- Speech: Speech is probably the most important thing of all! Talk less proper, and break the grammar rules! in stead of ‘anybody’ say nobody’. Say ‘ain’t’ but not like a western hick. Say things like, ‘I don’t want no pizza’. Spell ‘air’ like, ‘ayer’, ‘what’ like, ‘wuht’. And most of all, call your peers ’son’, ‘girl’, ‘cuz’ and ‘bro’.
Tips
- Sorry light blondes and redheads and paler skinned girls; the street/ghetto look is not for you. The type of people who look best with this look are african americans, mexicans, and olive-skinned people.
- Bright colors look good with this look, but NOT pastels. Neon green and pink and blue are the best.
- Big hoop earrings and silver or gold bangle bracelets look best with this style.
- Don’t be afraid of anybody. A street attitude is very important. You have to be bad and fearless!
- The best kind of shoes are nike low and high dunks, or big, bright gold high tops. Never get Converse brand shoes or Vans. Get Baby Phat shoes and other ghetto brands.
Warnings
- If you are lighter skinned with lighter hair, take precautions. Some people will will tease you, and maybe call you a ‘wangster’, or some other name for a white person who acts ‘black’. But, don’t let some teasing bring you down! Just rock your style and eventually people will stop teasing you.
- You may give a bad first impression on teachers/adults
- The style may get you into trouble with real gangsters.
